Today I am making project bags for my crochet kits using my beautiful 1936 hand crank Singer 99k. Although she doesn’t have a backstitch function numbered tension or stitch dial (they are just knobs you adjust) zigzag stitch (stretch frabics weren’t invented yet) or zipper foot (again zips weren’t around) she makes the most beautiful stitches and I use her for all non stretch fabrics. She also has a host of amazing feet which makes French seems gathering etc a doddle! These project bags will coming with me to @summerwoolfestival in a couple of weeks. #summerwoolfestival #yarnshowprep #singer99k #sewing
