After the Christmas rush, January is a time to restock and plan for the new year. I’ve had a lot of fun trying out new dyes, yarns and techniques. Here’s just a sample of the colours and patterns I have been working on. All my yarns are available on my Etsy store.
No wonder T-Rex’s were so grumpy their short arms made knitting and crochet so difficult. Might have been easier if they had some of these fab stitch markers to keep their woolly projects in order. This set of four dinosaurs have a large lobster clasps which make them ideal for crocheters. The set contains a diplodocus, a T-Rex, a stegosaurus and a velociraptor. Other sets are available on my Etsy store.
“All the better to keep my place in my crochet project.”
Our eldest loves the tale of Little Red Riding Hood in all it’s forms. I don’t think we have discovered a version he does not like, from the classic version by the Brothers Grimm and the charming Clever Polly and Stupid Wolf, to Roald Dahl’s hilarious rebellious Revolting Rhymes and the wonderful The Cat, the Dog, Little Red, the Exploding Eggs, the Wolf, and Grandma, he likes them all. So when I considered doing a fairy tale set of stitch markers there was only one tale I was going to do first.
The set includes Red herself , the big bad wolf, a tree, an axe, Grandma’s cottage and Grandma’s glasses. All use a large lobster clasp which makes them ideal for crochet. These Little Red Riding Hood stitch markers and others can be found on my Etsy store
Keep losing your place whilst knitting and crocheting your Gryffindor scarves? Well here is a ‘magic’ solution, six Harry Potter themed stitch markers. All come on a large lobster clasp which makes them ideal for crochet. The set consists of a broom, a Hogworts crest, a lightning bolt, an owl, the sign of the Deathly Hallows and the platform 9 3/4 sign. These and other sets are all available on my Etsy store.
