As I have recently started sewing, I have obviously had leftover fabric. I’ve saved the thin strips that were left and have turned them into ties for my ball bands! Once you have used the yarn, the ties can be used to tie back plants, as ribbons, a zillion other things or just cut up and put on your compost heap as they are all made from natural materials. I know they take longer than just buying ribbon and cutting it to size, but I try to have as little waste as possible. 🙂 These are all coming with me to @woolj13 and @yorkshireyarnfest, if you fancy a closer look! #indiedyer #handdyedyarn #yarnshow #yarnshowprep #sustainability

Today is a busy day indeed! I am dyeing up some more yarn for @woolj13 next week and @yorkshireyarnfest in a couple of weeks. I am also labelling the yarn I dyed last week and making orders! The dyeing and labelling would have been done on Monday, but a bank holiday happened so today is the only day to do everything before my final yarn show dye day on Friday and the mystery box yarns also need to be dyed Friday too! Lots of coffee is needed. Looking forward to meeting you next week, with lots of squishy yarn available. 🙂 #indiedyer #woolj13 #yorkshireyarnfest #yarnshow #yarnshowprep
